Switch hardive from a dell laptop to a ibm think pad ?

i have a ibm think pad 600e and i have a dell lattitude cpx the dell plaptop when it turn on it goes to a blue screen that says unamountable boot volume so i wanted to switch the hardrive to the ibm thinkpad and when i do that after everything is ready to go when i turned on the ibm laptop it pes the ibm screen but after the itgoesto a black screen with like a white underline thing jus blinking what can i do
