Barack Obama is supported by Hugo Chavez?

I lived in Venezuela for 2 years. I saw the country go from a sound economy to an economy solely based on oil and where the people are reliant on the government for everything. I saw as Chavez fixed prices and caused mive shortages. I saw as he blacklisted many who voted against him so they could not get a job. I saw as he imprisoned anybody that spoke out against him. Obama is not as extreme but Chavez wasn't either when he started. Hopefully Obama has a big enough opposition of people clinging to their guns and riligions to stop any ot these things from happening.
