Potty Training Woes! Help!?

ahhhh the joys of potty training...with my oldest, we tried at 2, 2 and 1/2 and then about 2 months later...she was very resistant. We tried the rewards the bribery...U name it we tried it. Finally, we left her alone till she hit 3, when she hit 3, we took her to the store, bought a small pkg of diapers..I held it up told her that this was the last pkg of diapers mommy and daddy were going to buy...told her when they were gone, she had to use the potty or sit in wet or worse pants till mommy was "unbusy" enough to change em....It took 2 DAYS!!!!!!! We did NOT use pull ups or anything, we put her in underwear and pants and when she peed em or worse...she was made to stay in them for about 3 minutes(A lifetime to a 3year old) and she did NOT like it all! That was what worked for us, but she knew that what mommy said, mommy meant. Follow through and consistency is very important and if you say NO more diapers...that needs to mean no more diapers....hope this helps, and I promise, she wont be going to kindergarten in diapers! :)
