Palmer's Stretch Mark Cream... does it work?

I'm young (15) and i have really bad stretchmarks. My mom recently bought me Palmer's stretchmark cream , we are going to florida in a week and i really want them to be reduced 'barely noticable' so can someone please share your experience with the cream. are there any side affects? HELP
