Does Hilary Clinton consider Palin a greater threat than Ahmadinejad?

A rally against Ahmadinejad, the new Hitler, was held in New York. Both Clinton and Palin were scheduled to speak. But Clinton refused to speak during the same rally as Palin. As a result, both speakers were canceled. Shouldn't opposition to Ahmadinejad be beyond politics?
